Perimenopause and Microdosing San Pedro FAQ

Am I eligible to participate in this San Pedro & Perimenopause study?

To be eligible for this study, you must be 30-50 years old, experiencing perimenopause, currently microdosing San Pedro, and able to provide consent for yourself.

How much time do I have to participate in the study?

We are closing our data collection at the end of Q1 2026 (March 30th).

How much experience microdosing San Pedro during perimenopause do I need to have to submit data?

We are collecting information from women who have been microdosing with San Pedro for 1-3 months.

Can you recommend a microdosing protocol to follow?

We’re unable to recommend or direct participants toward specific microdosing protocols. This survey is designed solely as an information-gathering effort to better understand what women are already doing—or have done—on their own. The insights collected will help inform future research questions and study design. This approach aligns with ethical research standards and is overseen by an Institutional Review Board to ensure the collection of unbiased, observational data.

Will you provide medicine?

No. This would also interfere with the intent of the study (see above).

If I had a bad experience, can I still participate?

Yes. We want to understand what is and isn’t working for people. Experiences that were challenging, uncomfortable, or disappointing are just as valuable as positive ones, as they help illuminate risks, gaps in support, and areas for improvement. Any insight you’re willing to share—at whatever level feels safe to you—brings us closer to a more complete, honest understanding and to shaping more ethical, effective care going forward.

How do I participate?

Once you’ve confirmed your eligibility, please sign our Informed Consent Form, which explains the purpose of the study, your rights as a participant, and how your information will be handled. Only after the Informed Consent Form has been signed may you begin the survey.

How can I help if I do not qualify for the study?

If you don’t qualify for this study, you can still help by sharing the opportunity with friends or community members who may be eligible. Spreading the word about the research and encouraging those who meet the criteria to complete the survey supports broader participation and helps ensure the study reflects a diverse range of experiences.
